Syllabus

My course is part of a three-module Language/Vocabulary unit called Commonly Confused Words. This is the first one in the series and focuses on Contractions. This graphic syllabus is a visual representation of my course, showing the four modules and the learning objectives for each module. Besides mapping out the course, this syllabus would also serve as a checklist for the students on their learning and something they could refer back to during the final section of the course when they would be writing their reflections and evaluations about their learning experiences. I chose to do a graphic syllabus because it appeals to different student learning styles. It offers a visual way of understanding the sequence, relationship and structure of how the learning objectives fit together within the course. It's a useful supplement to the traditional text syllabus.
